Individual Sessions

In an initial individual four hour session you will gain greater self awareness and empowerment through the way of the horse.

We will spend some time creating physical safety for you and the horse and then weave together a session which addresses your unique needs and goals with the horses, expressive arts, journaling and quiet reflection in nature.

After an initial session you will have time to explore with Miranda if you want to see her for ongoing individual work with the horses.

Workshops

Workshops cover the following areas, however each workshop is unique and has its own particular theme.

  • Horse-human relationship skills
  • Mind-body awareness
  • Finding your instinctual self
  • Reflective work with the horse
  • Active work with the horse
  • Dancing with the horse
  • Working with the energetic field of the horse
  • Learning how to be assertive
  • Authentic leadership

Being part of a group in a workshop setting gives you the opportunity to learn how to effectively support others, and witness how horses reflect to each of us our own uniqueness.

Next Family Constellation Workshops with Annie Shaw and myself are 12th June 2010 and 4th December 2010 in Stroud. I will also be running a two day workshop in Belgium "Birthing through Mourning" on 9th and 10th October 2010.

In 2010 the main body of my work will be to continue working with Individuals and Couples on the journeys with the horses. I now work with two herds. Maudie, Simza Tsura, Nutlet and Chico in Wiltshire in the Valley of the White Horse in Wiltshire and the herd at Riverside in the Forest of Dean . I will be running a Women's Group "Growing with the Herd."

In 2010 I will be starting a Womens Group at Riverside Farm with the horses. It will be over a course of 6 days starting in April 2010 and finishing in November 2010. This group will be open to 8 women who have completed a four hour introductory session with me and the horses and you will need to be in psychotherapy or be able to demonstrate your ongoing commitment to your therapeutic journey.

The aim of this group is to transform with the herd, to find a deeper connection to your self and others, exploring your sexuality and bodily image, your creative self, finding a balance with your feminine and masculine.
We will be working with the horses as a herd and individually. There will be space for reflective, active and ridden work with the horses.

I will be weaving together the place ritual, nature, art and dance has in our lives. Marion Woodman, Eve Adams
and Linda Kohanov's work inspires me on this journey in finding our souls true path. My ongoing teachers are the horses who on a daily basis teach me how to listen and be in our bodies.
